This page describes what WhaleWatch collects about you and how we use it. We try to keep it short and human-readable. If anything is unclear, email hello@whale-watch.app.

What we collect

  • Waitlist email. When you submit your email to the waitlist, we store it together with the timestamp so we can invite you when capacity opens.
  • Account email. If you sign in via magic link, we store your email and the timestamps of your sessions.
  • Watchlists. If you save funds or tickers to a watchlist while signed in, those are stored against your account.
  • Usage analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count anonymous pageviews and feature events so we can improve the product. We do not sell any data.
  • Crash reports. If the app errors, we log a stack trace and request id so we can fix it.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, store, or process any brokerage credentials, positions, or trading activity of yours. WhaleWatch is read-only: nothing you do here touches your real portfolio.

Cookies

We set a single session cookie when you sign in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

Email hello@whale-watch.app from the address tied to your account and we will delete your account, watchlists, and any associated logs within 30 days.

Where data lives

Application servers run on Railway and Vercel, both in the United States. SEC filings are read directly from EDGAR.
